Chief Minister Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti paid visit to Swat yesterday where he spent a busy day at Mingora. Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftekhar Hussain, Provincial Minister Wajid Ali Khan, MPAs Waqar Ahmad Khan, Sher Shah Khan and Jafer Shah, Home Secretary Fayaz Toro, Inspector General Malik Naveed and DCO Swat Khushal Khan also accompanied the chief minister.
The Chief Minister thanked the police personnel, Pak Army Jawans, doctors and officials of Health Department for performing their duties for the security of lives and properties of the general public of this terrorism affected area and said that they played a leading role in the war of the survival of nation and which is undeniable.
The Chief Minister, on the occasion, visited Mingora and Saidu Police Stations and lauded the bravery of police personnel and Jawans. He awards medals to the police personnel and announced their one grade promotion on the occasion.
Later on the Chief Minister visited Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital and separately met the patients under-treatment and inquired about their problems from the on-duty staff. The CM Hoti also awarded cash amount of 20 thousand rupees for each patient for their treatment and other necessities.
Ameer Haider Khan Hoti issued directives for the provision of ambulance for the two serious patients for their shifting to Peshawar where they will be treated free of cost. The Chief Minister together with MPAs and other officials also visited markets of Mingora and Saidu and examined the destroyed buildings. Pak Army Officers briefed him in detail.

The Chief Minister particularly paid tributes to the Jawans of Pak Army who rendered sacrifices of their lives for the rooting of the menace of terrorism from the region. He also lauded the patience of on-duty revenue officers and approved their one grade promotion. He also awarded the incharge of Malakand Lewy with prize and tributes.

The Chief Minister announced one lakh and two lakh rupees for all police stations of district Swat and police line respectively and approved the establishment of separate blocks in the hospital for the police.

CM presided a meeting at DIG office where Commissioner Malakand Fazal Karim Khattak briefed the participants in detail. Ameer Haider Khan Hoti reiterated the unshaken and firm resolves of winning the war of national survival.

?Elements compelling the people of Malakand Division on displacement will be punished and the day, for the people of Malakand and Dir including Swat to start their lives anew in a peaceful environment is near.?Hoti exerted.
